Valerii Dolia Signs

Treaty United are pleased to announce that Valerii Dolia has signed for the club ahead of the 2025 season.

The 26-year-old joins Tommy Barrett’s squad having most recently lined out for Kerry FC where he made sixteen appearances.

A native of Ukraine, Valerii played in the country’s second tier where he lined out for Energiya NK, FK Nikopol and SK Tavriya. He joined Athlone Town in the summer of 2022 and made a significant impact over his 18 months with the club. During this time, he scored 11 goals and provided 3 assists and played a key role in Athlone reaching the playoffs in 2023.

Dolia becomes Tommy Barrett’s first new signing of the off-season, strengthening his attacking options. The dynamic winger is an exciting addition for the 2025 season and is sure to excite fans at Markets Field with thrilling play out wide.

Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Tommy Barrett was delighted to have an exciting player like Valerii signed for the new season:

“Valerii missed a lot of last season but is a really good goalscoring threat. He’s technically very good and will add greatly to our attacking options, and we think we can get him to kick on to the highs he had with Athlone. I’m excited to work with him and I think he’s one that will excite the fans too.”
