Treaty United appoint Commercial Manager
Treaty United are delighted to announce the appointment of Alan Kenny as the club’s new Commercial Manager.
Appointed by the Treaty United board Alan has a proven track record in the League of Ireland and has been instrumental in the rise of Premier Division side Bohemians for the last decade.
Alan takes up his post with immediate effect. Speaking on his appointment Alan is looking forward to working with Treaty United and the people of the Mid West.
“I have been a fan of “the beautiful game” and the League of Ireland for over 30 years having attended matches as a child. Over the years my passion for the League has only grown. I have really enjoyed working as a volunteer for the past 8 seasons in a background marketing role at the club I am a member of – Bohemians. During that time I have been excited to see the support and awareness of the League grow.”
“I applied for the Commercial role at Treaty United because I believe there is great potential for a club which solely represents both men and women’s senior soccer in the Mid -West region. As well as having a thriving junior soccer scene, the Limerick and wider Mid-West region is very passionate about sport in general and one only has to drive around the city and towns to see evidence of this.”
“The Club plays in the heart of the city in a sporting venue of great historical significance, and it would be fantastic if we could see older fans re-connect with the League. We would love to see more families and the next generation experience exciting new memories together in the Markets Field in the years to come.”
“I have just begun to meet the people involved working behind the scenes at Treaty United and straightaway, I am struck by how much the Club means to everyone.”
“I look forward to meeting and working with all the stakeholders in the coming year ahead with the objective of trying to be part of making Treaty United a more sustainable club over time, ingrained in the local community.”
