Trade Electric Group Confirmed as Senior Men’s Shirt Sponsors
Treaty United Football Club is delighted to confirm that Trade Electric Group (TEG) will continue as the front of shirt sponsors for the 2025 season. TEG have been associated with the Senior Men’s team for a number of seasons and became front of shirt sponsors in 2024.
TEG were formed in 1971 and specialise in lighting and electrical equipment. The original store in Lower Gerald Griffin Street is still in operation with additional stores in Newcastle West and Nenagh. A family-owned enterprise, it was started by Paul Costelloe whose son Fergal is now the Managing Director of the Group. Speaking about his engagement with Treaty, Fergal says that he is impressed with the plans that CEO, Ciara McCormack and Manager, Tommy Barrett’s have for next season and beyond.
Fergal Costelloe, Managing Director TEG, said:
“ I met with Ciara and Tommy and was impressed with the plans that they have for 2025 and beyond. Hopefully, they will be challenging for promotion next season and, if not then, the following year, and the club will be lining out in the Premier Division with the TEG logo on the front of the jersey.
We were initially the back of jersey sponsor and got a good reaction locally. That has increased 10-fold since we became front of jersey sponsor and now people of Limerick associate us with Senior soccer in Limerick which is great. I would encourage other business to come on board.’’
Commenting on the continued support from TEG, Ciara McCormack was delighted with their on-going relationship.
Ciara McCormack, Treaty United CEO, said:
“We are really appreciative as a club to have a local success story like TEG be our front of jersey sponsor again. We have high hopes to take the senior men back into the Premier Division and can only do it with the support of local businesses, like Fergal and TEG have shown. We’re looking forward to building a successful club in Limerick and representing TEG well for years to come.”
