Driving / Parking:
As per the Ramblers website:
From the M25, exit for Cobh near Carrigtwohill (about 8 kilometres from Cork). Pass Fota Wildlife Park on your right and proceed over Belvelly Bridge. Take a sharp left at the exit of the bridge- towards the castle.
Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers into Cobh until you reach the “top of the hill” with its shops and pubs etc. Turn right at O’Donovan’s off-license and immediately right again. Continue straight up the hill until you reach St Colman’s Park.
Parking is in the streets around the ground.
Public Transport
Cobh is serviced by train and bus services to Cork.
Note that Cobh has very steep streets so note this advice from the Cobh website:
Take the short route: (Steep, with lots of steps)
Take the next steps on your left until you reach Lake Road at the top. Keep going straight up through Glenanaar Place for about 100 yards until you reach St Colman’s Park.
Take the longer route: (less steep)
Follow Bishop’s Road approximately 300 meters until you reach the end. Turn up the hill on your immediate left again. Continue straight up the hill until you reach the club grounds.
Cobh Connect Buses also have options to get you back as far as Cork, see HERE
Cobh is serviced by trains from Cork and these do run late enough to use after the game with trains at 2230 and 2330, Timetables HERE
There is no route back to Limerick after the game using public transport.
Trains from Cork don’t run late enough to get you anywhere on the night, but there is a GoBus to Dublin Airport at 0130, see HERE the first Dublin City service isn’t until 0330 though. Aircoach is similar with buses to Dublin Airport at 0100 and 0200, but no service to Dublin City until 0500, see HERE.
Before the game:
There are loads of pubs in Cobh, and there is also a clubhouse in the ground which is very welcoming to all.
In the Ground:
Treaty fans should congregate together in the ground and get right behind the team! The away section is usually behind the goal opposite the clubhouse.
