Treaty United
A storming start to the season that saw Treaty go five games unbeaten has been offset by a five game winless run.
Finding themselves 2-0 down at Wexford last week, the Limerick side battled their way back into the game with a stunning free kick from Yoyo Mahdy followed up with another clever finish by the striker that had Treaty level on 84 minutes.
Heartbreak followed jubilation though as Cian Curtis popped up with a winner for Wexford in the 89th minute.
Enda Curran, David Tarmey, Darren Nwankwo and Colin Conroy are all out for Treaty.
Midfielder Callum McNamara is approaching full fitness and may feature on the bench on Friday.
Goalkeeper Corey Chambers is a doubt.
Kerry
Kerry come into the game on a high after earning their first win of the season with a 3-0 home win over struggling Longford Town.
They finished bottom of the league last season but have already earned five draws this term and have rarely been a soft touch.
They currently sit just three points off the play-off spots
Past Meetings
This will be just the sixth league fixture between the sides.
A keenly contested 1-1 draw in Tralee marked the first meeting between the clubs in 2023.
A dominant 4-0 victory for Treaty was the result as Kerry made their first trip to the Markets Field in April of 2023.
Goals from Marc Ludden, Dean George and Enda Curran sealed the points in Treaty’s first ever win at Mounthawk Park in the next encounter – a 3-2 win.
Treaty recorded a straight-forward 3-1 home win in August of last year.
This season, Treaty earned a 1-0 win in Tralee despite conceding a last minute penalty.
Treaty went ahead through newly-signed striker Yoyo Mahdy in the 61st minute.
The Limerick-side, however, rode their luck at times giving up a number of chances until Michael Dike gave away a penalty in injury time by bringing down Daniel Okwute. Up stepped Ryan Kelliher who blasted his penalty high over the bar.
The final whistle blew immediately leading to wild celebrations in the away section of the ground.

Matt Keane was a stalwart for Treaty in the club’s first two seasons in men’s senior football. He was appointed captain upon signing for Kerry in 2023 but has now returned to Killarney Celtic
