Mark Murphy Re-Signs

Treaty United are delighted to announce that Mark Murphy has signed first-team terms.

The Treaty United Carelon Academy graduate enters his first full season of senior football with the club.


Formerly of Aisling Annacotty, Mark lined out for Treaty United’s MU17 side in 2021. Mark quickly progressed up to the club’s MU19 (now MU20) team in 2022 where he has spent the last three seasons. Mark captained the team in the Shield final in 2023, before being named captain for the 2024 season.

Mark appeared in a senior matchday squad for the first time in April of 2023 while stillplaying with the club’s academy and would make a total of six senior matchday squads that season. Mark went on to make his senior debut in January of this year in a Munster Senior Cup clash with Carrigaline United and made four appearances in total across the Munster Senior Cup and First Division.


Mark becomes the latest player to re-sign for Tommy Barrett ahead of the big season opener this Friday. TreatyUnitedFC.com spoke to Mark who was delighted to be back with the club:
