Madeleine McKenzie Signs

Treaty United are delighted to announce the signing of Madeleine McKenzie.

The Canadian midfielder becomes the latest addition to Sean Russell’s squad.

A Calgary native, Madeleine played for her local club South West United before making the move to Concordia University in Montreal. Over five seasons with the Concordia Stingers, she made 33 appearances, scoring five goals and providing one assist. Madeleine enjoyed spells as joint-captain and captain from the winter of 2020 until her graduation in May of 2022, and spent time coaching the side also. 

Madeleine has also spent time with the Calgary Rapids in the Alberta Major Soccer League, lining out for the side during summer breaks. 

Now based in Ireland, she is pursuing her studies at the University of Limerick while continuing her footballing journey and was a member of the UL team that reached the WSCAI Premier Division semi-final recently.

Madeleine has really impressed while in training with the club. She has a very positive attitudeand I think that she will add further quality to our midfield and defensive options this season.”
