Lee J Lynch Re-Signs
Treaty United are pleased to announce that Lee J Lynch has re-signed for the club ahead of the 2025 season.
The Limerick native joined his hometown club during the July transfer window and made a big impact in the second half of the season with some important goals and assists for Tommy Barrett’s team.
A former schoolboy at Janesboro and Regional United, Lee J’s exploits captured the attention of cross-channel clubs, and he signed for West Bromwich Albion in 2008.
After a brief spell in Spain, Lee J returned to Ireland and signed for Drogheda United where he was named their Player of the Season. The following season he moved to Sligo Rovers where he two successful years winning the League of Ireland and FAI Cup. During that time Lee J played in the Europa League and Champions League qualifiers. He had subsequent spells with St Patrick’s Athletic (winning the Presidents Cup) and Limerick FC before signing with Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership.
He returned for 3 seasons to Limerick FC playing a pivotal role in getting them into the Premier Division and a League Cup final where he scored a memorable goal to give his side the lead in the Markets Field. He joined Larne and helped them capture the NIFL Championship and County Antrim Shield and was part of a memorable Europa League qualification campaign.
