Katie Irwin Re-Signs

Treaty United are pleased the announce that Katie Irwin has re-signed for the 2025 season.

The goalkeeper enters her second full season of Senior football with Treaty United having made the jump from the club’s underage ranks in the summer of 2023.

Katie, a former schoolgirl player for Passage FC, represented Cork City at both WU17 and WU19 levels, and was part of the team that won the WU17 National League in 2020.

She joined Treaty United’s WU19 team for the 2023 season and soon made her way to the first team, appearing in all three of Treaty’s Avenir Sports All-Island Cup games that summer. 2024 proved to be a big year for Katie as she kept four clean sheets in eight appearances, helping the team to some big wins including victories over Galway United and Peamount United.

they look to make further improvements:
“I’m delighted to be able to represent Treaty United for a third year, last year was only an
example of what we can do and I’m excited to work with the team again and play under
Sean Russell.”

Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Sean Russell said:
“We are delighted to have Katie back for the 2025 season. She is a quality young ‘keeper
who has a fantastic work rate and attitude.”
