Five Treaty Players Selected for Ireland
Treaty United are delighted to announce that five of its Treaty United Carelon Academy WU17 players have been selected for the Rep of Ireland WU17 friendly fixture against Northern Ireland. Congratulations to Aibhlinn Cotter, Kate Jones, Chloe Wallace, Madison McGuane and Grace Ehinger.
Aibhlinn Cotter is a defender who joined Treaty United in July 2023 having played with Moneypoint FC/Connolly Celtic FC and she recently made her senior debut for Dominic Foley’s side against Wexford FC in the Women’s Premier Division. Kate Jones is also a defender who joined from Bunratty Cratloe FC in July 2023 and she made the senior squad against Wexford FC. Also making the squad for that game was defender Chloe Wallace who signed with Treaty in January 2023 from Fairview Rangers. Midfielder Madison McGuane joined in January 2024 from Pike Rovers with whom she won the U12 National Cup. Forward Grace Ehinger joined Treaty from Knigh United in Tipperary in January 2023 and she scored the winner against Austria in her last international outing for the WU16 in May.
All girls have come through the pathway from the grassroots clubs to their ETP team (Gaynor Cup teams) and through the Centre of Excellence Programme in Limerick to Treaty United.
The game versus Northern Ireland will take place in Belfast on Sunday August 18th at 2PM.
