Ciara Breslin Re-Signs
Treaty United are delighted to announce that Ciara Breslin has re-signed for the club and has made the step up to the Senior Women’s team.
Ciara started her footballing journey with local club Portlaoise FC where she was coached by her father Connell. She made her first steps in EA Sports LOI Academy football with Wexford FC in 2023 before making the move to Treaty United for the 2024 season.
The striker had a big first year with Treaty United at WU17 level as she grabbed a whopping nineteen goals and three assists, helping the side to reach Tier One and the quarter-final of the academy cup. Ciara also boasts caps at U16 and U17 level for Ireland, and recently won the Munster ‘A’ School Senior title with Presentation Secondary School, Thurles
Ciara enters her first season of Senior football under new manager Sean Russell with players and staff all looking ahead to the big kick-off at the Markets Field on Saturday, March 8th.
Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Sean Russell spoke about the attacking threat that Ciara will give to the side:
“Ciara has an exceptional work rate and is a very intelligent forward. She offers a lot offensively from the front and is a real goal threat in possession.”
