Ben O’Riordan Departs
Treaty United can confirm that Ben O’Riordan has departed the club and is set to emigrate.
The Cork native departs Treaty United having made 80 appearances over two-and-a-half seasons with the club.
Ben joined Treaty United in July of 2022 from Cobh Ramblers and appeared in each of the club’s final thirteen games of that season as they reached the FAI Cup Semi-Final and Promotion Playoffs. Ben became a mainstay in the Treaty United defence from his first appearance with the club onwards, operating effectively as both a right-back and centre-back for Tommy Barrett’s side.
The defender’s most memorable moment in a Treaty United shirt came in August of 2022 when he scored a stunning long-range strike at Turner’s Cross in a 2-0 win over eventual First Division champions Cork City.
Treaty United would like to thank Ben for his contribution to the club and wish him well on his travels and future ventures.
