Ben Lynch Signs

Treaty United are delighted to announce the signing of Ben Lynch.
A versatile defender capable of playing on the left side or in the centre of defence, Lynch joins the club after two successful seasons with Wexford FC, and boasts 80+ competitive senior appearances.
The 23-year-old began his career at national underage level with Athlone Town and Longford Town, making his senior debut for the latter in 2021 with four Premier Division appearances. He established himself as a key player for Longford in the 2022 First Division campaign, helping the team reach the playoffs, though they ultimately fell short against Galway United.

Lynch moved to Wexford FC ahead of the 2023 season, where he played a pivotal role in their success, guiding the team to playoff appearances in both seasons he was with the club.
He also contributed to Wexford’s impressive run to the semi-finals of the Sports Direct FAI
Cup in 2024.
Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Ben was excited about his future with the club:
“I’m very excited to sign for Treaty and begin this new chapter. My focus is to work hard and contribute to the team’s success. I can’t wait to get working with Tommy and the rest of the team, and to give the fans plenty to cheer about in 2025!”
Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Tommy Barrett said:
“Ben is another good addition that strengthens our backline as he is capable of playing centre back and left back. Ben is a very good athlete and is defensively minded, he has a great attitude and is experienced for his age in the league.”
