Amy Tierney Signs

Treaty United are delighted to announce the signing of Amy Tierney.

Amy joins the club having most recently lined out for Shamrock Rovers at WU17 level.

A former schoolgirl with Aisling Annacotty, Amy joined Shamrock Rovers in July of 2022. The midfielder enjoyed a successful two-and-a-half seasons with Rovers, picking up the club’s WU17 Player of The Year award in 2023 before winning League and Cup honours with that group in 2024. The Limerick native also lined out for the club’s WU19 side, notably scoring in a victory over DLR Waves last May.

Amy boasts a great deal of underage international experience having been capped for Ireland at U15, U16 and U17 level, getting on the scoresheet for the Irish WU17s last February as they ran out winners against Albania. She was a member of the Ireland’s WU15 squad that won the Bob Docherty Cup in 2022 also.

Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Sean Russell said:

We are delighted to bring Amy to the football club. Amy has a lot of excellent technical qualities. She is an exciting young talent who is comfortable anywhere in central midfield. We are very excited to see her out in the Markets field this year in the Blue and White of Treaty United.
