Liisa Tuomi Signs
Treaty United are delighted to announce the signing of Finnish U23 goalkeeper Liisa Tuomi.
The 21-year-old joins the club having most recently lined out for Lithuania’s most successful club FC Gintra.
Liisa started her footballing journey at a young age with FC Honka and went on to keep four clean sheets in 27 appearances for the side over two seasons in the Finnish top-flight.
During her time with Honka, Liisa also enjoyed loan spells with fellow Finnish top-flight side JyPK as well as lining out in Sweden’s top division with Lidköpings FK where she kept four clean sheets in 19 appearances.
Liisa joined FC Gintra last August and on debut saved two penalties in a shootout to secure third place in the Baltic Women’s Football League. The ‘keeper lined out twice for Gintra in the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers, including one clash with Celtic, and helped them to secure the Lithuanian Women’s A League in November.
