Madison McGuane Re-Signs

Treaty United are delighted to announce the signing of Madison McGuane to the Senior Women’s team.
The teenager signs a first-team deal after an incredible first season with the club’s WU17 side. Madison joined Treaty United ahead of the 2024 season having previously played for Pike Rovers where she won the SFAI U12 National Cup in 2022.

Madison quickly established herself at League of Ireland level with power-house midfield performances contributing goals and assists for her WU17 team who reached the elite phase as well as the quarter-final of the Academy Cup.

At just 15, she has already captained the GU15 FAI Schools and WU16 Republic of Ireland international teams. Most recently Madison was a part of the Republic of Ireland WU17 squad that took part in UEFA Women’s Under 17 Championship Euro Qualifiers against Spain, Austria and Denmark.

Recently Madison was nominated for the GU15 FAI Schools International Player of the Year and WU16 International Player of the Year awards, picking up the former of the two.
Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Sean Russell said:
“Madison is a huge talent. When you watch Madison play, it is evident she has all the qualities to become a top player. Her biggest quality is her desire to constantly improve on the training pitch. She will add creativity to our team this season and is a very exciting player to watch.”
