Colin Conroy Re-Signs

Treaty United are delighted to announce that Colin Conroy has re-signed for the club ahead of the 2025 season.

The 21-year-old enters his fourth season with the club having first joined Treaty from Bohemian FC back in January of 2022.

A midfielder, Colin made his debut on the opening day of the 2022 SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division and has since gone on to rack up 76 senior appearances with the club. The Laois man has improved with each passing season, becoming an important defensive midfield player with his tenacity and tough tackling breaking up the opposition’s play.

Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Colin was thrilled to be signed up for the new season and will be looking to make amends for an injury hampered 2024:

“I’m delighted to be back in Limerick for another year! Last season was disappointing for me with injuries so I’m looking forward to this year and am hoping to push on again.”

Manager Tommy Barrett also spoke to TreatyUnitedFC.com and was happy to have Colin signed up once more:

“Colin had plenty of suitors, so I’m delighted to have him. He’s really mobile and can develop into a really good defensive midfield player. He’s good on the ball, aggressive and has a lot of games under his belt for a young lad. We missed him a lot last year so we’re looking forward to him kicking on and having a really good year.”
