Lee Devitt Re-Signs

Treaty United are delighted to announce that Lee Devitt has re-signed for the club ahead of the 2025 season.

The Newmarket-on-Fergus native enters his fourth season with the club and is coming off the back of his best ever season with Treaty United as ten goals and six assists saw him win the Members’ Player of the Season award for the second consecutive year.

Lee joined the club from Cobh Ramblers ahead of the 2022 season and has been an important part of Tommy Barrett’s midfield ever since. The 24-year-old has accumulated a remarkable 114 appearances – just one behind all-time leader Stephen Christopher – and has become a big fan-favourite through his performances on the field.

Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Lee said:

“I am absolutely delighted to be back, I love being here and working under Tommy and the staff, it’s a great environment for me to learn and improve as a player. I can’t wait to continue the journey and get back playing in front of our fans at the Markets Field on Friday nights under the lights.”

Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Tommy Barrett said:

“I’m delighted to have Lee back for 2025. He’s only 24 but is really experienced for his age with almost 200 senior appearances. Lee had a great season last year and we’ll be hoping to push him on further next season. He’s a great professional and will be a great leader for the group too.”
