Shauna Pearson Departs

Treaty United would like to thank Shauna Pearson for her four years of service to the club as she embarks on a new journey with Cork City FC.

Shauna joined Treaty United’s first ever WU17 team in the summer of 2020 from her schoolgirl club Newport Town and was an intrinsic part of that side that went on to be crowned Women’s U17 Elite National League Champions in November of 2021.

Two fractures to her spine meant that Shauna sat out the 2022 season, but was still involved as much as ever around the club. Shauna volunteered to work on the club’s academy social media pages as well as doing co-commentary for the club’s Women’s Premier Division games at the Markets Field.

Shauna signed for the Treaty United Senior Women’s team in 2023, recovering from her spinal injury to make her Senior debut in August of that same year at home to Shelbourne. Shauna started in all of Treaty’s final eight games of the 2023 season, including a home clash with Shamrock Rovers live on TG4, becoming an integral part of the defence for the latter half of the season.

Treaty United would like to extend our gratitude to Shauna for her contributions to the club over the last four years and wish her the very best going forward.
