SLO Report: Longford Away

Treaty United visit Longford on Saturday 16th March. Kick off is at 7.30pm and all support for Treaty is most appreciated.  Remember if you cannot make it our women’s side would appreciate your support at the Markets Field for their opening WNL game v DLR Waves KO 5pm

Tickets:

Tickets for the game can be purchased online HERE

  • Adult: €15
  • Concession- Students (13-18), OAP’s (Over 65’s): €10
  • Children Under 12: €5

Getting There:

Treaty United Blue Army supporters have organized a bus to the game, details TBD but cost €10.  Contact the Blue Army on socials or 0838260907 to book.

Driving / Parking:

The ground is just off the N5 to a few km to the west of Longford itself.  Google maps gives a couple of different options from Limerick but mainly involve taking the N63 then turning onto the N5 west.  From Dublin follow the N4 to Longford.  There is a large car park at the ground which is free.

Public Transport

Getting to Longford from Limerick by public transport is not straightforward and there seems to be no way to do it on the night except maybe via Dublin. Also the ground is well out of town so a taxi is probably the best bet before the game.  Someone is bound to be sound and drop you back there afterwards though.

Bus Eireann serves Longford on Route 22 and 23 and there are 02:32 and 02:59 services back to Dublin.  See HERE and HERE

Irish Rail serves Longford from Connolly Station in Dublin but services do not run late enough to return on the night.  See HERE

Before the game:

There aren’t any pubs close to the ground so the town centre is probably your best bet.

In the Ground:

Treaty fans will be directed to the away section on the side opposite the main stand but will have no issue accessing shop, toilets etc. (cash only facilities for shop/ clubhouse).

Treaty fans are asked to congregate together and get right behind the team!
