Treaty United FC is a dynamic and ambitious football club that competes at the highest levels of football in Ireland, with a team in the Women’s Premier Division and Men’s First Division and 7 teams in our youth academy. With a commitment to excellence both on and off the field, the club is seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Sales Director to join its dedicated team for a 3-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the commercial success of Treaty United FC and contributing to the growth of the club.

Role Overview:  

As the Commercial Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue through the identification and acquisition of sponsorship and other commercial opportunities. This 3-month contract role offers a unique chance for a self-motivated and results-oriented professional to make a significant impact on the club’s commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities:  

  1. Sponsorship Acquisition:  
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship acquisition strategy aligned with the club’s goals.
  • Identify and approach potential sponsors, presenting compelling proposals tailored to their business objectives.
  • Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements to maximize revenue and benefits for both parties.
  1. Commercial Partnerships:  
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Explore and establish new commercial partnerships that align with the club’s values and brand.
  1. Brand Activation:  
  • Work collaboratively with sponsors to develop and implement effective brand activation strategies.
  • Ensure that sponsorships deliver tangible value through promotional events, branding, and digital platforms.
  1. Revenue Diversification:  
  • Explore and capitalize on diverse revenue streams, including merchandise sales, hospitality packages, and other commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to integrate commercial initiatives seamlessly across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:  

  • Proven track record in commercial sales and sponsorship acquisition within the sports industry.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of football industry trends and key stakeholders.
  • Budget management experience.

Compensation:  

  • This is a 100% commission-based role. The successful candidate will be compensated based on the revenue generated during the contract period.
