Enda Curran Re-Signs

Treaty United are glad to announce the re-signing of Enda Curran for the 2023 SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division season.

The Galway native signs back after a stellar 2022 season where he scored 20 goals in 30 appearances and picked up several accolades including Extra.ie FAI Cup top scorer, Treaty United Members Player of the Year, PFAI First Division Team of the Year member along with being nominated for the PFAI First Division Player of the Year and SWAI September Player of the Month awards.

Enda signed for Treaty United in January of 2022, making his competitive debut in a Munster Senior Cup quarter-final victory over Waterford FC one month later. He netted a brace on the opening night of the First Division season when Treaty United put five past Wexford FC in Ferrycarrig Park and scored some vital goals throughout the season for Treaty. The crowning moment of his season came when he struck a hat-trick in the FAI Cup quarter-final against UCD, becoming the first Treaty United Senior player (male or female) to do so.

We caught up with Enda following his re-signing and he couldn’t hide his delight at being back in Treaty United colours for 2023:

“It’s great to be back! Last year was probably my most enjoyable year of football to date and I’m looking forward to getting back to the Markets Field. Hopefully we can go another step further this year, and if I can have a season anywhere near as good as I had last year then it will be enjoyable. I’m just glad to have the deal over the line and I’m looking forward to being back working with the lads in January for pre-season.”
