Treaty United is a football club based in the Mid West. Founded in 2020 Treaty United predominantly play out of the Market’s Field stadium.
Treaty United compete in the FAI National League and at present have teams entered in the senior women’s national league and the national u-17 league. Our Senior men’s side have been accepted in the Airtricity League First Division this season in what will be our inaugural season in the national league.
Our senior women’s side are managed by Niall Connolly and the u-17 side is managed by Craig Hurley.
The Men’s senior side is managed by Tommy Barrett.
Treaty United’s home jersey is red and white, the club crest incorporates the bridges over the River Shannon.
The club’s ambition is to establish a sustainable model of league of Ireland football in the Mid-West. It is our intent to compliment the work of the leagues and clubs in the Mid West and to work with them to achieve this goal. Treaty United will develop a best in class academy to support those young people who seek an opportunity to develop their talents and maximise their potential.
The Treaty United board is chaired by Conn Murray. The board comprises of John Fennessy, Barry Hogan, Lorraine Counihan, Mary Shire, Colm Hayes, Dave Mahedy, Dan Neville, Sean O Brien, John Hannon and Mike Aherne.
