Treaty United Football Club are delighted to announce Shountrade AFC as their first club partner. The Club Partner Programme is an important community initiative from Treaty United as they aim to build programmes that will benefit football in the mid-west and serve football communities.

Treaty United recognise the importance of working with clubs and leagues and further supporting the excellent work being done by clubs and leagues across the Midwest. Shountrade AFC, based outside Adare, County Limerick, are the first club to sign up to the programme.

The partnership kicked off this week as Treaty United ran pre-season for the men’s U18 squad and Shountrade will provide the half-time scramble at this Friday night’s Sports Direct Mens FAI Cup game between Treaty United and Kilbarrack United.

Kevin Condon, Chairman of Shountrade, commented on the partnership arrangement:

We as a club are delighted to be in a club partnership program with Treaty United. It helps us greatly in achieving our goal of all our teams and coaches working in unison towards implementing our club ethos of all our teams training and playing in a similar fashion.

Treaty United is a wonderful fit for us as it is wonderful to have a League of Ireland club on our doorstep that are willing to reach out to the grass root clubs and lend a helping hand.”
