New Head Coach

Treaty United Football Club is delighted to confirm Sean Russell will become Head Coach of the women’s senior team. 

Having spent this season with the WU17 side Sean has signed a multi-year deal and will replace Dominic Foley who guided the team to a 7th place finish this season. 

Sean Russell has significant experience having played 9 years first team in the League of Ireland along with a spell in the United States.  

Russell’s playing career ended prematurely and over the past five seasons has coached at Elite National Youth, Women’s League of Ireland and Senior Men’s Football. He holds UEFA B diploma qualified 2021 and UEFA A diploma qualified in August 2024.

His passion for coaching and ability to develop players is at some of the highest levels I have ever seen. As we look to integrate local players into our senior team and build our club into one that is challenging for titles, Sean stood out as someone we feel confident can help us do that in the years to come”. 

On his appointment Russell said,I’m absolutely delighted to take on the role, it’s been a big ambition of mine, I’ve been working towards this over the past few years, it’s a proud moment”.
