Dominic Foley Departs

Following this evening’s final game of the Women’s premier division season for Treaty United, manager Dom Foley and the club have confirmed it was Foley’s final game in charge of the team.

The 2024 season brought about a big upturn in performances in the Women’s Premier Division under Foley, a 7th place finish, with the side returning their best points tally, along with improved defensive and goal scoring performances.

Foley confirmed the decision which had been made a couple of weeks ago shortly after the game but first acknowledged another rewarding afternoon for the team.

“We are delighted to finish strong, it is our first win as a club over Peamount which is great for everyone”

On his departure Foley said “I loved it, it’s been a great experience, all because of the players attitude, their willingness to train and work out made it a very enjoyable experience “

CEO of Treaty United Ciara McCormack said “Under Dom our women’s team became competitive in every game and he’s laid a fantastic foundation from which the women’s team can build on for the future. He is an absolutely class individual and we are extremely grateful for his commitment and efforts throughout this year.”

Treaty United will confirm the new Senior Women’s manager in the coming days.
