Treaty United are pleased the announce the signing of Steven Healy on loan from Galway United for the remainder of the 2024 season.
The 19-year-old joins having spent the first half of the season on loan with Kerry FC where he made 17 appearances for The Kingdom, helping them to reach the Munster Senior Cup final along the way.
Capable in both the centre and right of midfield, Steven has also made seven senior appearances for his parent Galway United and was an important part of the club’s run to the MU19 Enda McGuill Cup final in 2023.
Tommy Barrett spoke to TreatyUnitedFC.com following the loan signing of Healy where he outlined how big of a player Healy will be for Treaty United in the second half of the season:
“Steven is a good young midfielder that fits the profile of player we’re looking for. He can play as a ‘6’ or ‘8’, is a physical lad for his age and can move the ball well too. I think he’ll make a big impact this season for us.”
