Treaty United can confirm that Talia White will captain the Senior Women’s side for the 2024 season.
The defender was given the captain’s armband prior to Treaty United’s opening day win against DLR Waves where she made her competitive debut with an imperious defensive performance.
A native of Calgary in Canada, Talia played at a collegiate level with the University of Calgary where she recorded 83 appearances and picked up several individual accolades in five seasons with the Dinos. Prior to joining Treaty United, Talia lined out in Australia with South Hobart and Essendon Royals.
Treaty United Senior Women’s Manager Dominic Foley spoke to TreatyUnitedFC.com about how difficult of a decision it was to select a captain:
“It was a difficult decision as our pre-season went so well with so many players standing out. However, Talia’s attitude in training and matches were top class and she has led by example. Luckily for us we have so many players that can lead by example with her”.
