Treaty United are delighted to announce that Katie Irwin has re-signed for the 2024 Women’s Premier Division season.
The goalkeeper enters her first full season with the club at Senior level having broken through to the first team in the summer of 2023.
A Cork native, Katie joined the club’s WU19 side for the 2023 season and featured prominently for the underage side throughout the season. Irwin saw Senior involvement with the club a short time later as she was named on the bench for the first time in May of that year. Katie went on to make three appearances for the first team in 2023, starting in all of the club’s All-Island Cup group games.
Katie becomes the latest addition to new manager Dominic Foley’s squad and is one of three goalkeepers in the senior ranks with Anne-Marie Ulliac and Eliza Campbell all having signed up for the new season.
Treaty United begin their Women’s Premier Division campaign on March 16th when they host DLR Waves at the Markets Field with a 5PM kick-off.
