Treaty United are delighted to announce the signing of Ayaka Ikeza for the 2024 Women’s Premier Division season.
The 26-year-old joins Treaty United having recently moved to Ireland from her native Japan.
Ayaka has been playing football for more than 20 years and lined out at left-back for Seisa OSA Rhea Shonan FC before moving to Ireland. During her time at the club, Ayaka played in the Empress Cup as well as in the national high school championships. Ayaka also devoted her time to coaching the U11 boys’ team at Serigaya Tokyo in Machida, Tokyo.
Ayaka spoke to TreatyUnitedFC.com following signing with the club, and she spoke about her excitement for the year ahead:
“I am delighted to be part of Treaty United. It is my first time living away from Japan, and they have made me feel at home. I cannot wait to put on my boots for the new season! I will do my best to lead the team to victory.”
