Treaty United are delighted to announce the signing of Alec Byrne.
The midfielder joins up for his second spell with the club having spent the latter half of the 2023 season with Cobh Ramblers where he helped the Rams to a First Division playoff final.
A native of Carrigaline, Alec spent almost eight years with Cork City FC across their academy and senior set-ups. He played every minute of City’s UEFA Youth League campaign in 2016, before progressing to the senior ranks where he made close to 50 appearances.
He joined Treaty United in early 2023 and was an integral part of the team’s midfield with 19 appearances and is now back with the club as the new season looms.
