Kate O’Donovan Re-Signs

Treaty United are delighted to announce the re-signing of Kate O’Donovan for the 2024 Women’s Premier Division season.

The midfielder enters her first full season with the club having joined midway through the 2023 campaign from Cork City FC Women.

A Bandon native, Kate spent eight-and-a-half seasons with Cork City FC Women and had the honour of being the first player to graduate from City’s academy into their first team. O’Donovan made over 100 senior appearances with Cork City and started in the club’s FAI Cup Final victory over UCD Waves in 2017.

She made the move to Treaty United in July of last year and played an important role for the club, featuring in six of the final seven games of the season. When speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, Kate was delighted to have signed up for the new season and had high praise for new manager Dominic Foley:

I’m delighted to have signed back with Treaty this season. I really enjoyed my time at the club last season, everybody was so welcoming and kind so I’m looking forward to kicking on again this year. Preseason has been going really well. The environment is brilliant, and Dominic has set high standards for us so overall it’s been very enjoyable.
