Treaty United are delighted to announce that David Tarmey has signed on loan from Galway United.
The highly-rated 19-year-old joins for the 2024 season having made eleven appearances for Galway United at Senior level, scoring once.
It was at academy level that Tarmey had a significant impact in 2023 as the striker’s 16 goals in 18 games helped the Galway United U19s to reach the Enda McGuill Cup Final where they came up just short against Shamrock Rovers.
While the Claregalway native is proven at academy level, he will be looking to make a name for himself with Treaty United as a player that can score goals consistently at senior level. At 6’3 Tarmey is a big presence up front and he will look to utilise his aerial ability and clinical finishing to great success in 2024.
