Treaty United are delighted to announce that Ben O’Riordan has re-signed for the 2024 season.
The Cork man enters his second full season with Treaty having joined the club in July of 2022 from Cobh Ramblers where he made close to 150 appearances.
A versatile defender, O’Riordan has made 47 appearances with Treaty United including three goals to date, the most memorable of which saw him score a screamer at Turners Cross in 2022 as Treaty defeated eventual champions Cork City.
Speaking to TreatyUnitedFC.com, manager Tommy Barrett was delighted to have O’Riordan signed up for the forthcoming season:
“I’m delighted to have Ben signed up again. He’s starting work in Limerick in January, so he’ll be able to train a bit more with less travel. He’s a top lad and is a really experienced player for his age; he’s a very good defender that can play right back or centre back. You know what you get with Ben and he’s a good role model for the younger players coming through.”
