Jordon Tallon Signs

Treaty United are delighted to announce the signing of former Shamrock Rovers and Wexford FC player Jordon Tallon.

The Carlow native joins after an eighteen-month spell with Wexford FC where he recorded 28 appearances for the South-East side, including an FAI Cup upset away to Sligo Rovers.

Prior to his time with Wexford, Jordon joined Shamrock Rovers at 11 years of age from schoolboy club Hackettstown United. It was with The Hoops that Tallon played at MU17 & MU19 level before progressing to play for Shamrock Rovers II in the 2020 First Division alongside current Treaty United player Andy Spain.

Capable at both the centre of defence and midfield, Jordon joins up with the Treaty United squad ahead of an exciting second-half of the season as the Treaty look to reach the playoffs for a third consecutive season.

Speaking in the aftermath of signing, Jordon spoke of his excitement to get going with the club:

“I’m delighted to sign for Treaty United, and I’m buzzing to get started with the lads for a big push in the second half of the season and get them play off places. Also, I got stick off the Treaty fans in the reverse fixture down in Ferrycarrig so I’m buzzing to play in front of them as they had a great atmosphere!”

Treaty United are back at the Markets Field on Friday, July 14th when Waterford FC visit the Markets Field for a 7:45PM kick-off. Tickets are available at the below link.
