A trip to Belfast beckons for the Treaty United Senior Women’s side as part of the upcoming Avenir
Sports All-Island Cup.
Treaty United will travel to Seaview to take on NIFL Women’s Premiership side Crusaders on June 17
before facing into home ties against Cork City and DLR Waves in the following weeks.
The competition features all 11 Women’s Premier Division sides along with 5 sides from the
Northern Irish ranks. The 16 teams have been split into four groups with the winner of each
advancing to an open draw for the semi-final.
The competition gives Alban Hysa’s side some competitive action while the Women’s Premier
Division is on hold due to the Women’s World Cup and allows him to rest some players while giving
more minutes to fringe players.
The fixtures for the competition are as follows:
Group D
– Saturday, June 17: Crusaders v Treaty United (5:45pm, Seaview)
– Saturday, June 24: Treaty United v Cork City (5pm, Markets Field)
– Saturday, July 1: Treaty United v DLR Waves (5pm, Markets Field)
