Treaty United are delighted to announce that Darren Collins has re-signed for the 2023 Men’s First Division season.
Darren enters his first full season with the club having joined from Sligo Rovers in July of last season.
A right-back, Darren made four appearances at the tail-end of last season. He played his part in Treaty United’s FAI Cup run as he made his debut off the bench on July 29th during a 5-0 win over Usher Celtic in the first round. Darren made his first start in the second round against Maynooth University Town one month later.
We spoke to the Mayo native who was looking forward to the new season as well as being hopeful of playing a bigger role this season:
“I can’t wait to be back in amongst the lads again for 2023. Hopefully I can kick on having a full year at it this time around, I really enjoyed the couple of months I had last year down in Limerick”
