Treaty United are pleased to announce the signing of Conor Barry for the 2023 SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division season.
The midfielder joins from Wexford FC where he featured almost 30 times for Ian Ryan’s charges, grabbing seven goals along the way.
The Portumna man started his League of Ireland career with Galway United in mid-2014 and helped them in achieving promotion to the top-flight at the first time of asking. Conor featured for the Tribesmen the following season at Premier Division level before departing.
Since then, Conor has enjoyed fruitful spells at Athlone Town, Finn Harps, a second spell at Galway United and, most recently, one season at Wexford FC.
We caught up with Tommy Barrett who was delighted to have signed Conor for 2023:
“I’m delighted that Conor will be with us for 2023. We were well aware of his threat when playing with Wexford and Galway; he has an eye for goal and will give us more attacking options with his flexibility.”
