Melody, Brady and McNamara Depart

Treaty United can confirm that Conor Melody, Jack Brady and Callum McNamara have departed the club.

Conor Melody is set to move to the UK, while Jack Brady and Callum McNamara join Longford Town and Galway United respectively.

Conor Melody was one of the 26 players that formed the first Treaty United Senior Men’s squad, but due to injury struggles he had to wait until July 30th of 2021 to make his debut in a 4-1 win away to Athlone Town.

Conor made 37 competitive appearances for Treaty United, scoring once in the second leg of the First Division Play-Off Semi-Final against UCD on November 7th, 2021.

Jack Brady signed for Treaty United ahead of the 2022 season and made his debut for the club in a Munster Senior Cup Quarter-Final victory over Waterford FC in February.

Jack was a huge part of Treaty United’s run to the playoffs, and was also in the starting eleven for the club’s FAI Cup Semi-Final defeat at the hands of eventual winners Derry City.

In total, Jack made 31 appearances for Treaty United and kept 11 clean sheets.

Like Conor Melody, Callum McNamara was one of the 26 players that formed the first Treaty United Senior Men’s squad, making his competitive debut off the bench in a 1-0 win over Wexford FC on April 2nd, 2021.

Callum made 59 appearances for Treaty United, scoring once on the opening day of the 2022 season against Wexford FC along with three assists during his time at the club. He was also named Fan’s Player of the Month in June 2021.

Treaty United would like to express our gratitude to Conor, Jack and Callum for their contribution to the team and wish them all the best for the future.
