Treaty United are delighted to announce that Richkov Boevi has re-signed for the 2026 season.
The 21-year-old enters his second full season of senior football with the club, having burst onto the scene at the tail end of the 2024 campaign before enjoying an even stronger 2025.
A left-sided defender, Richkov joined Treaty United’s MU20 side in 2024 and soon found himself on the fringes of the Senior team. After making some cameo appearances during that season, a run of six consecutive starts at the end of the campaign showcased his qualities. 2025 saw Richkov make 28 appearances for the club including scoring the team’s first goal of the First Division season. His commanding performances at the back, particularly at the business end of the season, played a huge role in Treaty reaching the First Division Playoff Final for the first time.
Senior Men’s manager Tommy Barrett was pleased to have Richkov signed up for 2026 and looks forward to seeing him improve further:
“It was a breakthrough season for Richkov in 2025. He did really well and finished the season very strongly. He’s been improving month on month and he’s a great athlete with real physical presence, which is important at this level. We hope to see him kick on and make even more progress in 2026.”
Richkov becomes the latest re-signing ahead of the 2026 season, along with Ben Lee and Ben Lynch.
