Treaty United are pleased to announce that Ben Lynch has re-signed ahead of the 2026 season.

The Offaly native returns for his second season with the club after a brilliant 2025 campaign which saw him make the left-back position his own.

Ben made his Treaty United debut in February in a Munster Senior Cup Quarter-Final tie against Waterford FC and scored his first goal for the club just over a month later as Treaty put five past Athlone Town. He went on to make a total of 38 appearances in 2025, playing a pivotal role on the left side of defence as the club reached the First Division Playoff Final for the first time.

Senior Men’s manager Tommy Barrett was pleased to retain Ben for 2026 after a great first year with the club:

“Ben has been a really good addition for us with almost 40 appearances in 2025, and we think he can kick on next year and become a leader in the group. He has a lot of good attributes and is one of the better full-backs in the First Division. We hope to see him improve even further next season.”

Ben Lynch becomes the latest re-signing for the 2026 season, joining Ben Lee who signed a multi-year deal in 2024.
