MU15
First into action for the weekend were our MU15s who hosted Waterford FC in the league in Hogan Park.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Daniel O’Connell, Conor Kennedy, Jordan Brown (C), James Palache, Alex Meaney, Mighty Odudu, Gavin Scanlan, Kaylum Matha, Paddy Gubbins, Conor Brady, Wisdom Amaeze,

Subs:
Alex Clancy, Ben Doumbouya, Danny Hammond, Conor Campbell, Evan Hogan, Cathal Donnelly, Mieszko Kurylonski

Our MU15s had a well deserved 2-1 victory against Waterford ending Waterford’s unbeaten record in the league at Hogan Park. We conceded an early own goal and came back with two class second half goals to claim victory.

Waterford took the lead on 10 minutes through that own goal and held onto their one goal lead up to the interval. Early in the second half, Alex Meaney got us back on level terms with an assist from Kaylum Matha. And just before the hour mark, Kaylum got on the scoresheet himself to put us in front, the assist this time coming from Cathal Donnelly. We held on for an impressive victory. One of the highlights was how the team dealt with Waterford’s Irish international playing up front. Our defensive midfield style and focus shut them out and outplayed them.
Our MU15s are back in action next weekend when they travel to Ferrycarrig Park to play Wexford FC.

WU17
Our WU17s travelled to the AUL Complex in Dublin to take on Shelbourne FC in the Elite Phase of their league.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Emma Jones, Jennifer Hogan, Kate Lee (C), Alex Sheehy, Aoibhe O’Leary, Eleanor Blake, Caila Neligan, Grace Geary, Orlaith O’Connell, Ellen Hackett, Aoife Frawley

Subs:
Rachel O’Shea, Mya Lee, Mylie Treacy, Honor Mulvihill, Ciara Austin, Mioda O’Shea,

Our WU17s couldn’t make it 4 in a row unbeaten when they lost 4-0 away to a classy Shelbourne FC at the AUL in Dublin. The scoreline suggests this was a one-sided game but it was far from that as the Treaty girls rattled Shels throughout but simply conceded at bad times in the game. Going one down after 80 seconds could easily have led to fear and nerves but the girls dug in and were outstanding for the rest of the first half.
Treaty made changes at half time with the score still at 1-0 and actually went out to try to win the game but again an early goal knocked them back as Shels scored their second 4 minutes after the interval. Again, Treaty rallied and through some incredible defending from Shels, the Treaty girls couldn’t get the goal they deserved. As they piled forward they were caught late on with 2 quick scrappy goals which resulted in the 4-0 score but all were proud of the performance and we’ll move on to a home Munster derby versus Cork City next Saturday in the Manor Fields. Player of the match was once again Caila Neligan although a shout out is needed for Emma Jones in goals, Alex Sheehy and Orlaith O’Connell in midfield and Eleanor Blake upfront.

MU20
Our MU20s travelled to Ferrycarrig Park to take on Wexford FC in the league.

Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Dylan Ashman, Cian Carmody, Dean Owens, Michael MacSweeney, Fintan O’Kelly, Kyle Foley (C), Brandon Long, Kayden Deegan Herlihy, Darren Nwankwo, Jack Dunleavy, Sean Costelloe

Subs:
Tiernan Adelu, Michael Mulcahy, Rhys Barry, Christian Stack, Rory McKeon

Our MU20s made the long journey to Wexford and came home with all three points. Dean Owens was on top form looking sharp after a return from injury. Owens pounced on a defensive mistake early on to open the scoring and then fired in a fine left foot finish to double the lead. Wexford replied before the half time interval with a sublime free kick.
Sean Costelloe doubled the lead again early in the second half and Darren Nwankwo headed home a corner at the back post to secure the three points. Christian Stack made his MU20 debut and Rory McKeown also added more MU20 minutes for himself.
Next up is a home game versus Klub Kildare where Treaty just need to avoid defeat to qualify for the quarter finals.

MU17
Our MU17s made the journey to the AUL Complex in Dublin to take on Shelbourne FC in their Elite Phase league.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Conor Crofton, Rory McKeon (C), James Rochford, Alex Omoruyi, Kian Dempsey, Mark O’Callaghan, Sean Kiely, Gavin Ryan, Nathanael Mthembu, Christian Stack, Conor O’Mahony
Subs:
Darragh Van Veen, Ryan Moloney, Nathan Mathewebo, Conor Kennedy, Tony Hourigan, Ben Doumbouya, Timmy O’Sullivan, Mark Regan

Our MU17s made the trip to AUL Sunday to take on an in form Shelbourne side. Shels were on the back of a 5-0 UEFA Youth League win during the week and they brought the same form in to this game. Treaty started brightly before the home side took control of the game. Treaty found themselves two down inside 22 minutes. Shortly after Alex Omouryi was denied by the Shels keeper from a short distance to keep it at 2-0. Shels added a third in the 28th minute. Nathaniel Mthembu and Sean Kiely both missed great opportunities to bring the game close. Shels made Treaty pay the price adding a 4th goal just before half time.
Much like the home fixture it was a much improved second half performance. Treaty had the better of the chances but failed to find the net. The best chance of the half falling to Tadhg McElliot late on with the home side countering quickly to get a fifth goal late on.
Some good individual performances on the day but a poor first half was the difference.
Next up for the MU17s is a home game against Munster rivals Cork City in the Manor Fields in Adare.

WU19
Our WU19s were away at the home of Killeshin FC to take on CK United in the league.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Niamh Kinehan, Sadbh Griffin, Ava Neary (C), Chloe Wallace, Grace Ehinger, Ella Carey, Ellen Goggin, Abbey Walsh, Amy Tierney, Sirena Celebrini, Molly Lane

Ruby Linnane, Megan O’Reilly, Suvi Isabella O’Connor, Saoirse Kent, Emma Meaney, Jayne Ryan

An action packed first half saw 8 goals in the first 23 minutes of play. Treaty dominated the entirety of the game with 2 lapses in concentration affording CK United goals to keep them in the game early on.
Treaty started very brightly and within minutes had forced a corner. The delivery by Sadbh Griffin was inch perfect and met by Chloe Wallace at the far post to send the ball to the net. Great celebrations followed as this was Chloe’s first start after a long injury lay off and it was deserved reward for her hard work!
Only minutes later, Amy Tierney scored a quality goal thanks to a sublime pass from Ellen Goggin. In the same minute, an unfortunate own goal offered some hope to CK, but Treaty’s reaction was immediate scoring their third goal less than a minute later through a CK own goal. The corner from Sadbh Griffin again into the danger area and forced into the goal by the CK defender.
At this rate Treaty’s staff were hoping for some calm but the players on the pitch felt otherwise. Two minutes after the third goal, Treaty scored again, this time through Abbey Walsh with Ellen Goggin again the provider.
We were now just entering the 20th minute of the match and CK found their scoring boots again with a quality finish from the edge of the box.
Treaty picked up the ball, set it down for the restart and went straight up the pitch to score their 5th goal, a brilliant switch of play from Sirena Celebrini, to Amy Tierney who found Ehinger on the opposite side of the pitch in space. Her cross was inch perfect to the oncoming Ellen Goggin who made no mistake from close range. Less than a minute later, Goggin again scored thanks to another assist from Ehinger. It was now 2-6 with 23 minutes played.
Treaty played exceptional football throughout the game but just after the half hour were caught cold and CK scored their third goal of the game.
Abbey Walsh completed the scoring in the first half just before the whistle with Ellen Goggin providing her 3rd assist of the game.
A much quieter second half where Treaty were again well on top and the final score came from an Ella Carey penalty after Saoirse Kent was brought down in the box.
Player of the Match was Ellen Goggin with special mention also to Grace Ehinger who was also outstanding in the game.
This was the WU19s final group game of the season and it’s been a brilliant year for all the Players who now look to a league Quarter final next Sunday followed by the WU19 Cup final the following weekend, both against Bohemians. Great credit due to every player that took to the pitch since pre season back in January.

MU14
Our MU14s travelled to the FBD Hotels and Resorts Park to take on Klub Kildare in the league.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Emmet O’Donnell, Marco Lopez, Gibby Celebrini, Jude Cullen, Yanis Mambouna, Gabriel Nseka, Sean Kelly (C), Liam McCague, Morgan Barrett, Adam Rochford, Precieux Malonga
Subs:
Dion Hannon, Fionn Kennedy, Paddy O’Sullivan, Ciaran Irwin, Sean O’Carroll, Harry Millan

Our MU14s played out an entertaining game in Kildare on Sunday. We got off to a fantastic start with three goals in the opening third of the game. Gabriel Nseka grabbed our first after just 8 minutes assisted by Marco Lopez. We doubled our lead on the half hour mark from the penalty spot with Liam McCague converting the spot kick. Seven minutes later we were awarded our second penalty of the game and this time Fionn Kennedy dispatched the penalty.
During the next two periods, Klub Kildare came back strongly and eventually ran out winners. Overall though, there was some fantastic pressing, one and two touch football from the group and implementing learnings from the week’s sessions.
Next up, we play Kerry FC at home in Hogan Park on Saturday.
