International News
First off, congratulations to Ellen Goggin who represented her country in last week’s WU17 Female Football Tournament in Italy. The Republic of Ireland WU17s won all 3 games against North Macedonia, Slovenia and Italy without conceding a goal. Ellen played in all 3 games and scored against North Macedonia. Senior Men’s Assistant Manager and MU20 head coach, Dave Rooney, was goalkeeping coach to the squad.

MU15
Our MU15s hosted CK United in Hogan Park in the league.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Daniel O’Connell, Danny Hammond, Jordan Brown, James Palache, Alex Meaney, Mieszko Kurylonski, Mighty Odudu, Conor Campbell, Mark Regan (C), Gavin Scanlan, Ben Doumbouya

Subs:
Alex Clancy, Evan Hogan, Cathal Donnelly, Wisdom Amaeze

Our MU15s recorded an impressive win over CK United on a 4-1 scoreline. There was consistent performance from the team throughout the game, implementing principles of play and an additional opportunity to demo how our Individual development plan in the training model allows the players shift positions for tactical success.
Despite dominating the game, Treaty had to settle for a scoreless first half. However, early in the second half our dominance paid off and Cathal Donnelly grabbed two goals in quick succession, the second assisted by James Palache. Ben Doumbouya added a third with an assist from Alex Meaney. CK United pulled a goal back with 15 minutes left on the clock but 5 minutes later, Ben Doumbouya grabbed his second to restore our three goal advantage and round off the scoring.
Based on stats, our MU15s remain the team with the highest number of Goal Scorers in the LOI Season so far which has been a Key Performance Indicator for the squad and we continue to progress.
Our MU15s are back in action next weekend when they travel to Charleville to take on Limerick FC.

MU17
Our MU17s had Galway United as visitors to Hogan Park in their Elite Phase league.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Conor Crofton, Rory McKeon (C), James Rochford, Kian Dempsey, Ryan Moloney, Tadhg McElligott, Nathan Mathewebo, Mark O’Callaghan, Sean Kiely, Gavin Ryan, Nathanael Mthembu
Subs:
Darragh Van Veen, Alex Omoruyi, Christian Stack, Conor Brady, Conor Kennedy, Tony Hourigan, Kaylum Matha, Paddy Gubbins, Conor O’Mahony

Our MU17s hosted Galway United in Hogan Park on Sunday. The pitch was torn up from the MU15 game from the previous day so both teams struggled to get rhythm in the game. Galway were the more clinical side on the day punishing mistakes from the Treaty side especially in the first half and they took a two goal advantage into the half-time break.
Five minutes into the second half, Nathanael Mthembu got us right back into the game when he scored. With 25 minutes left on the clock, Galway restored their 2 goal advantage from the penalty spot. On the 78th minute, Christian Stack gave us a lifeline when he grabbed our second but try as we might we were unable to grab an equaliser before the end.
Next up for the MU17s is another home fixture against UCD next Sunday.

MU14
Our MU14s entertained Wexford FC in the league in Hogan Park.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Sean O’Carroll, Fionn Kennedy, Yanis Mambouna, Jude Cullen, Gabriel Nseka, Sean Kelly (C), Jack Bourke, Liam McCague, Morgan Barrett, Adam Rochford, Dion Hannon
Subs:
Harry Millan, Gibby Celebrini, Paddy O’Sullivan, Seamus Greene, Marco Lopez, Jack Sheehy, Ciaran Irwin, Hugh Canty, Precieux Malonga, Emmet O’Donnell

Our MU14s took on Wexford FC in poor pitch conditions in Hogan Park. We opened the scoring in the first minute with a great goal courtesy of Fionn Kennedy and assisted by the industrious Gabriel Neska. Wexford were given a way back into the game through a dubious penalty decision, however, the chance was missed.
Mid-way through the second period, a fantastic assist from Hugh Canty led to Precieux Malonga scoring and doubling our lead.
Some sloppy play gifted the Wexford FC team a goal towards the end of the game but we held on for the victory.
Players of the match were Yanis Mambouana and Precieux Malonga.
Our MU14s are away to Galway United next weekend.
