WU17s
First into action were our WU17s who hosted Cork City in a Munster Derby at the Manor Fields in Adare in their Elite Phase League.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Niamh Kinehan, Jennifer Hogan, Kate Lee (C), Ciara Austin, Alex Sheehy, Aoibhe O’Leary, Grace Geary, Orlaith O’Connell, Aoife Frawley, Mylie Treacy, Honor Mulvihill

Subs:
Rachel O’Shea, Eleanor Blake, Ellen Hackett, Mya Lee, Mioda O’Shea, EIbhlin Butler

Our WU17s finally got the rewards for their incredible efforts when they defeated a strong Cork City 2-0 in the Munster derby in Adare. Treaty were simply excellent from start to finish with a solid and classy defensive display from captain Kate Lee and Player of the Match Ciara Austin at full back and the rocks of Jennifer Hogan and Aoibhe O’Leary at centre half. All were outstanding as were Niamh Kinahan in goals with excellent composure and distribution throughout and Alex Sheehy as the engine in midfield.

With the quality upfront of Mylie Treacy and Orlaith O’Connell in attacking midfield and the strong front 3 of Aoife Frawley, Grace Geary and Honor Mulvihill, Treaty were always a threat and regularly broke at pace to threaten the Cork defence. One such break saw Honor win a corner which she delivered herself to the front post where Kate Lee timed her run perfectly to volley home the first on 27 minutes. That’s how it stayed until halftime and Treaty made some big substitutions with Eleanor Blake and Mioda O’Shea coming on as Treaty went for the win and Rachel O’Shea and Ellen Hackett coming on soon after to keep the midfield dominance in place. It was that midfield strength that saw Alex Sheehy win the ball high up the pitch before passing to Eleanor Blake who took one touch and then buried her effort in the top left of the goals to put Treaty 2 up.
The girls saw out the game superbly with Niamh pulling off a super save to keep the clean sheet and give the Treaty girls a deserved and overdue win. They’ll confidently take on Galway away next week and look to continue their super season with another win.

MU15
Next up were our MU15s who travelled to Ferrycarrig Park to play Wexford in the league.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Alex Clancy, Conor Kennedy, Jordan Brown (C), James Palache, Alex Meaney, Mighty Odudu, Kaylum Matha, Paddy Gubbins, Conor Brady, Conor Campbell, Ben Doumbouya

Subs:
Daniel O’Connell, Gavin Scanlan, Danny Hammond, Evan Hogan, Cathal Donnelly, Mieszko Kurylonski, Wisdom Amaeze

Our MU15s were the much better team by many measures against Wexford FC but somehow lost 1-0 by an avoidable goal due to an individual mistake.
It was really a tough game to endure not taking a well deserved 3 points had we scored from our chances and the 14 set pieces we had.
We are confident in the players that they will put a very good performance next week against Kildare at home.

MU20
Our MU20s hosted Klub Kildare in the Manor Fields in their final game of the regular league season.

Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Dylan Ashman, Cian Carmody, Michael MacSweeney, Fintan O’Kelly, Kyle Foley (C), Kayden Deegan Herlihy, Darren Nwankwo, Jack Dunleavy, Sean Costelloe, Michael Mulcahy, Rhys Barry

Subs:
Tiernan Adelu, Brandon Long, James Rochford, Mark O’Callaghan, Kian Dempsey, Conor O’Mahony

Our MU20s hosted Klub Kildare in the final league game of the season. The home side needed to avoid a 2-0 loss to progress to the knockout stages.
Strong winds blowing from one end to the other made it a game of two halves. Treaty started brightly and took the lead after 16 minutes through Kaden Deegan Herlihy finishing off an excellent team move. Treaty failed to extend their lead in the first half.
With the wind behind Kildare in the second half they created some good chances and equalised on the 66th minute. The home side were able to hold out for the draw and get the result needed to qualify for the next stage.

MU17
Our MU17s entertained Munster rivals Cork City in their Elite Phase league in the Manor Fields in Adare.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Dylan Ashman, Rory McKeon (C), James Rochford, Nathan Mathewebo, Alex Omoruyi, Kian Dempsey, Mark O’Callaghan, Sean Kiely, Gavin Ryan, Nathanael Mthembu, Conor O’Mahony
Subs:
Daniel O’Connell, Christian Stack, Ryan Moloney, Tony Hourigan, Timmy O’Sullivan, Joey Nwankwo, Tadhg McElligott, Paddy Gubbins

Our MU17s hosted Cork City on Sunday in the Manor Fields. The home side defended comfortably behind the ball and looked to force Cork City to clip long balls into space. Treaty were able to create some great opportunities in transition and were rewarded on the 19th minute. An excellent team move found Alex Omouryi who in turn found Sean Kiely to finish well on his right foot.
The second half followed the same pattern with Treaty defending well and creating some great opportunities on the break. Excellent individual performances throughout the pitch culminating in a well deserved win.
Next up for the MU17s is an away fixture to Galway United.

WU19
Our WU19s were away to Bohemian FC in the quarter-final of the WU19 League.
Our lineup for the game was as follows:
Starting 11:
Niamh Kinehan, Sadbh Griffin, Ava Neary (C), Emma Meaney, Ella Carey, Lily-Anne O Meara, Annabel Mulcaire Quille, Abbey Walsh, Amy Tierney, Sirena Celebrini, Suvi Isabella O’Connor

Ruby Linnane, Chloe Wallace, Molly Lane, Megan O’Reilly

Our WU19s contested this game for long periods but failed to capitalise on some good chances.
A first half goal was the only score of the game right up to the 90th minute. Treaty were pressing high to find an equaliser and got caught on the counter twice inside 3 minutes to give Bohs a flattering scoreline to end the game. Despite the scoreline, Treaty will come away confident that they can produce the goods next weekend.
Both sides will meet again this Sunday in the WU19 Cup Final in Athlone at 1pm.
Player of the Match was Annabelle Mulcair-Quille.
